Always Behind

I have fantastic news today, (well, and yesterday! Like I said, I’m always behind)!! My collaboration with Val C. Designs is officially in our stores looking beautiful with all the layouts our CT created for us! I’m more than excited that Val wanted to collaborate with me and she was amazingly sweet helping out this newbie, and an amazingly talented designer!
This kit was inspired by where we come from, the places we’ve lived, the people in our lives that are connected to us. It is about our memories and all the things that tie generations together. Our Basic Roots is simply that. It is about our roots and about growing. But the kit can be used for so much more. The colors were inspired by the colors of the earth, is filled with frames and word art, and we hope filled with inspiration for you to create and grow.
After I finish this post I’m going to head over to DST’s “The Happy Place” to give this kit away! And also, a little later this week I’ll be back to tell you of another place you can go to win it from Val. It involves a template challenge, which is beautiful, so I hope you’ll all participate!

Flew Through The Month

Wow did February fly by! I haven’t really been missing from blogging even though it looks like it, just missing from this one in particular. I’ve actually been posting more regularly & staying busy with lots of babies at my photography studio, http://studios.elisahubbard.com/ , and designing some albums for them. Last month was my 1 year anniversary of opening my studio and it has been a great year!
But I’m sure if you are visiting here today that you are more interesting in the new designing news I have for you!
I’ve had the amazing pleasure to work on my very first collaboration with the lovely Val of Val C. Designs @ DSC! Our Basic Roots will be released on Monday at both my stores & her store and I can’t wait! It came together so much quicker than I thought, and I love it!

Lots To See & Win!!

Well today is a day for new releases I’d say! I’ve been busy editing photos from my sessions last week that I’m here a little later than I’d planned today. Well. First I’ll tell you about my new kit & new templates, then I’ll get to the good stuff & tell you the places where you can go to win some of my goodies!
I love making templates and going back to my layouts and seeing all the layers in some or the simplicity in others. I hope Vol. 3 & Vol. 4 of my templates will help you create some beautiful pages!
As for my new kit, “When You’re Alone.” I found it was so calming & relaxing to make and I hope it will be that way when you create with it. This kit is to make you think and imagine that you have a day of no stress: What do you like to do to relax? What gives you peace? Is there anything you do that you just know will just calm your nerves and let you think? I wanted to give you something serene and beautiful and I think “When You’re Alone.” is just that.
